K.Luhmasi

K.Luhmasi is a performing artist based in the southeast region with over 20 years of experience in dance and roughly 8 years of experience in flow arts. She is an artist in many areas and has been focusing most of her flow passion on geometric patterns and gridwork to embody her natural love for animation and popping dance techniques. K.Luhmasi values truth and relatability in her flow and dedicates her movement to the art of musicality and skill. Through her flow, she aims to popularize the depiction of female embodiment with the manipulation of sharp body movements incorporating different props.
Throughout the past 5 years, K.Luhmasi has really symbolized her growth and self-confidence, within the flow arts community, by performing and holding space for others in local public settings. She has represented flow arts in holiday parades, family style festivals, as well as small venues and large music festivals with her triads and isolation hoops. To K.Luhmasi, flow means freedom to feel and freedom to be authentic. Her rooted spiritual relationship to movement has allowed her to truly respect flow arts and the individualities that the community offers, while staying true to herself and sprouting from the soul. With this community, she is excited to continue to grow and feel alongside many props and people as movement continues to heal all.

Triad It Out
If you have had or just picked up this new prop and still have little ideas of what to do with these giant fidget spinners, then this class is for you! It will focus on both beginner and intermediate stages of honeycomb gridwork so that one can walk away with some basic moves to ignite more intentional ideas for more triad growth. Any experience with fans, buugeng, and staves will give you a good foundation to unlock more triad patterns in this class.
