Intro 2 Fire Props
In this introduction to fire prop spinning students will learn the good and bad about fire spinning and even have the opportunity to do their first burn towards the end of class. We will go into deep detail that will be covering our clothing fibers, the props we use, fuels used, fuel containment, prop care & safety protocol. Towards the later part of class those who wish to do their first burn will have the opportunity to do so as long as their clothing fibers are safe to burn in as well as competent to the prop they wish to spin.

During class we will go into detail on the importance of fire safety, why we wear certain clothing fibers, making sure the props we spin are in well working order, the kind of fuels we use as well as their containment and the importance of having the correct safety protocols in order. At the end of the workshop those who would like to do their first burn can do so as long as their clothing fibers are safe to burn in as well as competent to the prop they wish to spin.
Learning The Grid
In this introduction double staff workshop students will learn about grid theory within the nine square grid and the pathways in which we take. We will dive into VTG by blessing the students with the knowledge of timing and direction with its importance in pattern building. By working on a series of Continuously Assembled Patterns (*CAPs) students will begin to build up muscle memory and a greater understanding of Learning The Grid!
Box Mode Patterns
In this intermediate double staff workshop students are going to step into the world of Box Mode Patterns with double staff! Box Mode Patterns seem to have been the most overlooked patterns when coming to double staff. JonBrown has dove deep down this rabbit hole for the past six years with his signature diagonal box mode patterns. This workshop is perfect for those who have hit the stagnant point and are looking to break through that wall. Students will walk away with even a greater understanding of the grid, grip changing and the ability to truly clean up their pattern making.
